Core Selling Points
· Positive drive: no slip, so the cart stops where the controller tells it to - unlike friction wheels on a dusty or oily floor.
· Spur racks for simple, low-cost lines; helical racks for higher speed and lower noise.
· Standard sections of 500, 1000, 1500 and 2000 mm, joined end to end for any track length.
· Matching pinions supplied to the same module and grade.
· Transfer carts between parallel conveyor lines
· Shuttle cars in automated storage
· Pallet and fixture transfer in assembly lines
· Indexing conveyors and lift-and-carry transfers
· Long-travel handling gantries over conveyors
Conveyor transfer and shuttle drives need to move a load to a known position, repeatedly, often over long distances. Friction wheels slip when the rail is wet or dusty; belts and chains stretch over long spans. A rack fixed along the track with a servo- or geared-motor-driven pinion on the cart gives a direct relationship between motor rotation and travel: s = z x pi x m per revolution.
Most conveyor duties do not need ground racks. Precision milled racks at DIN 8 or DIN 9 give enough positioning for transfer stations at much lower cost. The choice between spur and helical depends on speed and noise: helical teeth engage gradually and run quieter, but push the pinion sideways and need a mounting that takes the axial force.

Fixed rack along the track, pinion on the cart
· Fix the first section, then set each following joint with a joint gauge before bolting.
· Mount the rack parallel to the cart's guide rail; misalignment changes backlash along the track.
· On washdown or dusty lines, mount teeth sideways or downward where possible.
· Milled racks for cost, ground racks where a station needs it - on the same track.
· Hole patterns to your frame drawing.
· Racks and pinions supplied as matched sets.
